Who WE ARE

The PTA is made up of a group of volunteers. We manage fundraising, organise and help out at events and support the delivery of projects and activities within the school. If you come across us at the school drop-off or at an event be sure to say hello.

What is a Parent Teacher Association (PTA)?

A Parent Teacher Association (PTA), is an organisation of parents and staff. PTAs are best known for their fundraising work, but they have a useful social function too. visit our Mission page to find out more about the work we do.

How is the money spent?

The PTA raises funds to provide additional resources and experiences beyond the school's regular budget, often focused on enhancing learning with fun and exciting activities. The committee, along with the headteachers, decide how to allocate these funds with both long-term goals (such as renovating the quiet area), and shorter-term goals (like supplying sand for the Reception play area).

How can I get in touch?

We are always looking for new volunteers. The easiest way to get in touch is to email contact@fundmayfield.com and one of our team will get back to you. There are photos of our team above if you'd rather say hello at the school or at an event.
